Sponsorship series continues for the company with UFC Fighters
Tampa’s BlueGrace Logistics announced its sponsorship of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contenders Jake “The Juggernaut” Ellenberger in his matchup in the main event with Jake Shields, Alan “The Talent” Belcher in his matchup with Jason MacDonald and Vagner “Ceara” Rocha in his matchup with Cody McKenzie. The three events take place this Saturday, September 17 at the New Orleans Convention Center in New Orleans, LA.
“BlueGrace has been sponsoring UFC fighters for about six months now and we’re getting a great understanding of the discipline, determination and integrity these guys have,” said BlueGrace President and CEO Bobby Harris. “There’s also a deep respect amongst the fighters competing against each other. It’s not uncommon for these guys to be hanging out together after they just faced each other in the octagon. You just don’t get that in other sports.”
Harris added that the BlueGrace Logistics staff are big fans of the UFC. For the New Orleans event, more than 25 employees are traveling from Tampa, Florida to attend. They’ve also had fighters such as Thiago Alves and Carlos Condit visit the BlueGrace headquarters for career fairs and onsite broadcast interviews on WTAN Sports Radio.
BlueGrace Logistics is one of the fastest-growing and most progressive providers of transportation, logistics and technology solutions to businesses and individuals nationwide, serving more than 2,500 customers in 60 cities. The company has previously sponsored Vagner Rocha, Junior Dos Santos, Ben Henderson, John Howard, Chris Leben, Carlos Condit and has an ongoing sponsorship with Thiago “Pitbull” Alves.
